Girl Talk Ambassador

Melissa received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from UIC, but she spent her college years living at the Newman Center on UIUC’s campus. There, she worked as an RA, led bible studies, served on retreat teams, and discovered a love for building community and forming meaningful connections. Melissa now works on a cardiac unit at Northwest Community Hospital, and is eager to bring what she’s learned about holistic care into her surrounding community. When she’s not working, Melissa enjoys taking long walks, practicing calligraphy, and, more recently, watching Formula 1. Oh, and she loves dogs - ask her about her golden retriever Finley
